Quang Tri Medical College on September 28 held a workshop aimed at building an international cooperation network and enhancing the training capacity for future nursing programs in colleges and universities across ASEAN, South Korea, and the United States.

During the event, participating institutions discussed and exchanged ideas, engaged in dialogue, shared knowledge, resources, and innovative practices, collaborated on research, and worked to strengthen the future capacity of nursing education. They also explored opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
The workshop is expected to enhance global nursing education capacity, share best practices, develop new curricula, and equip nursing professionals with the skills needed to meet the evolving needs of diverse communities.
At the event, leaders and experts from institutions such as Yonsei University College of Nursing (South Korea), DePaul University (United States), Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ubon Ratchathani (Thailand), Savannakhet Provincial College of Health Sciences and Xieng Khouang Provincial College of Health Sciences (Laos), STIKES Mitra Husada Medan University (Indonesia), and Quang Tri Medical College signed a letter of intent to create an international cooperation network and strengthen future nursing education.
The initial focus areas for cooperation among these institutions include implementing nursing practices, improving nursing education and training methods, and sharing resources, faculty, and research equipment. At the same time, the partners exchange research findings, organize collaborative workshops, and seek international partnerships to address future nursing education needs.
