In the lead-up to the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), the central province of Quang Tri’s top officials on July 14 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom.
The delegation, led by Secretary of the Quang Tri Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang and Chairman of the Quang Tri People’s Committee Tran Phong, offered incense and flowers at the provincial memorial temple dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers.

As part of the solemn ceremony, Secretary Quang and Chairman Phong performed the traditional bell-ringing ritual before paying respects to President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s revered national leader and a UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Icon. The delegation also commemorated the ultimate sacrifice made by generations of martyrs in the country’s struggle for peace and national unity.The ceremony reflected the province’s enduring commitment to the national “gratitude and remembrance” movement. Over the years, Quang Tri has implemented a wide range of initiatives to support families of war invalids, martyrs, and those who contributed to the revolutionary cause.In their remarks, provincial leaders expressed deep appreciation for the heroic past and pledged to uphold Quang Tri’s revolutionary legacy. They reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening national solidarity and accelerating development efforts, aiming to contribute to a strong, innovative, and prosperous Vietnam.
