Exploring astonishing Western region of Quang Tri
Forest of Liquidambar formosana commonly known as Formosan gum in the Western region of Quang Tri are at the time of best colors of leaves, making them romantic like in Western Europe.
Formosan gum trees in Huong Tan Commune of Huong Huong District are changing leaves, making them from green to red, yellow, and different colors. The forests create astonishing scenery, attracting a large number of visitors.

Formosan gum trees are large, native, and deciduous, growing up to 30-40m tall. The tree has numerous branches and grows with a vigorous vertical trunk that is grey and smooth.
When viewed from above, the colors of the trees following the leaf-changing season produce a variation that is comparable to "European Corner."
In Huong Tan commune, Huong Hoa district, a section of Formosan gum forest’s changing leaves makes a vibrant scene beside the Rao Quan hydropower dam.
During the maple leaf-changing season, a lot of young people come to witness, explore, and capture incredibly beautiful moments.
Visitors get to the “European Corner” by boat with the help of locals.
