Forest of Liquidambar formosana commonly known as Formosan gum in the Western region of Quang Tri are at the time of best colors of leaves, making them romantic like in Western Europe.

Formosan gum trees are large, native, and deciduous, growing up to 30-40m tall. The tree has numerous branches and grows with a vigorous vertical trunk that is grey and smooth.
When viewed from above, the colors of the trees following the leaf-changing season produce a variation that is comparable to "European Corner."
