American “Santa Claus” offers gifts to Quang Tri pediatric patients
The philanthropist from Florida, US, brings rare joy to pediatric patients at Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.

In a Santa Claus costume, Michael Gormalley from the United States visited Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital on 4 December. Within the bell ringing and cheerful lyrics of the Jingle Bells song, he sent the disadvantaged children his best wishes alongside 106 gifts.
According to the Board of Directors of the Provincial General Hospital, Michael’s appearance brought great joy to children suffering from illness.
On behalf of pediatric patients and their families, the hospital’s Board of Directors expressed their appreciation to Michael Gormalley. It said that the gifts from "Mr. Santa Claus" are a great source of encouragement for the children and the hospital.
Michael is known as a generous philanthropist who comes to Vietnam once a year for Christmas. Over the past ten years, he has handed over tens of thousands of gifts to children with difficult circumstances, especially pediatric patients across the country.
Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital is honored to be the first destination of Michael’s love-sharing journey this year.
