T he opening ceremony of the 2025 Green Summer Campaign and Pink Vacation took place on July 11 by the Youth Union of the Quang Tri Provincial People” s Committee, in collaboration with Group 8 of the Hanoi Youth Union.

The program offers a valuable opportunity for the youth of Quang Tri Province to connect, exchange experiences, and demonstrate their sense of social responsibility. It also provides an environment for union members and young people to develop practical skills, contribute to the community, and grow personally, nurturing a generation of young citizens who are kind-hearted, courageous, intelligent, healthy, and socially engaged in the cause of national development and protection.

During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented financial support totaling VND40 million ($1.530) to help eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing for the family of Ho Thi Thanh in Khe Ngat Village. Additionally, 20 meaningful gifts, each valued at VND500,000 ($19), were given to students in Nam Trach Commune to encourage and support disadvantaged households and children in the area.

On this occasion, Group 8, together with the Provincial People’s Committee Youth Union, also organized a variety of impactful activities, including: donating and installing signage for the “Lighting Up Rural Roads” project, visiting and presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and individuals with meritorious service, conducting AI literacy classes, and supporting local authorities at both the commune and district levels.
Group 8 is composed of six youth union teams from universities in Hanoi, all dedicated to meaningful community engagement and youth development initiatives.
