Quang Tri has approved a project to create a language-rich learning environment for ethnic minority preschool children, with a budget of over VND 8.6 billion (US$341,000).Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Hoang Nam, has signed a decision approving the 2025 implementation plan for the “Preschool Teachers Apply Teaching Skill and Knowledge” (TALK 2022-2026) project, aimed at creating a language-rich learning environment for children in Quang Tri. The project is funded by the Flemish Association for Development Cooperation and Technical Assistance.

The project aims to equip preschool staff with skills to build a language-rich environment, incorporating advanced early childhood education practices to improve learning quality for ethnic minority children.It will be implemented in Huong Hoa, Dakrong, Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, and Cam Lo districts, with 310,000 euro (US$336,000) as non-refundable aid and VND787 million (US$31,000) from the provincial budget, running until December 2026.Key activities for 2025 include developing action plans, training teachers, setting up classroom environments, managing funds, and reporting progress. Successful implementation in these districts will pave the way for expansion to other areas.
