The project is being implemented in six communes: Trieu Long, Trieu Giang (Trieu Phong District); Ta Long, Ba Long (Dakrong District); and Gio Mai, Gio My (Gio Linh District). The project will run from September to October 2024. Its goal is to enhance the resilience of vulnerable households and protect them from the impacts of natural disasters.
The project includes key activities such as training on early action and updating early action mechanisms for local governments, including commune and village officials, and commune-level disaster prevention forces; activating early action mechanisms ahead of storms, floods, or other types of natural disasters; distributing cash assistance to 530 vulnerable households in areas affected by storms, floods, or other disasters to strengthen their resilience and recovery.
