Rural industrial product fair takes place in Quang Tri

The event is an opportunity for the central province of Quang Tri and its neighboring provinces to promote their industrial products to domestic and international friends.

The rural industrial goods fair, jointly organized by the provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, took place from July 17 to 23 at the Quang Tri Conference and Service Center, with a total estimated budget of up to VND2.5 billion (US$98,000).

As many as 300 booths of businesses joined the event, showcasing typical agricultural and craft village products of the Central and Central Highlands regions. Enterprises and organizations participating in the fair have enjoyed incentives according to Decree No. 45/2012/ND-CP of the Government on industrial promotion.

The fair aims to introduce and promote industrial and handicraft achievements that Quang Tri and other provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions have reached in recent times. It is also an opportunity for businesses and rural industrial establishments of provinces and cities to showcase their brands, products, and services to domestic and international friends and share experiences on technological innovation to improve production and business capacity, develop markets, and increase competitiveness as integrated into the global economy.

This event also enhances the connections among manufacturers and businesses, distributors, and investors, creating favorable conditions for production and business development and attracting investors in Quang Tri and the Central region and Central Highlands.
