The memorial service for Myshu Lebadang, wife of artist Le Ba Dang (known as Lebadang), took place at his private house in Bich La Dong Village, Trieu Thanh Commune, Trieu Phong District, on January 1.

Myshu Lebadang was born on July 5, 1929 in Le Havre, France and died on December 26, 2023 in Paris, France, at the age of 94. The French woman of Vietnamese origin used to work at a prestigious French fashion house as a designer.
Married to Le Ba Dang in 1950, this woman greatly influenced the life and career of the talented artist.Relatives said Myshu Lebadang closely followed her husband’s activities with many different quiet roles during trips to visit hometown with him. Due to her gentle, harmonious and profound qualities, she received much love from local people and her family.

At the memorial service, delegates and relatives of Le Ba Dang’s family, local people, and art lovers respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate Myshu Lebadang.
In the cozy space of the family, everyone took a moment to commemorate and say goodbye to the woman who had a great influence on the life and career of Le Ba Dang. After the flower and incense offering ceremony, everyone told wonderful stories about Myshu Lebadang.

The rustic house of Le Ba Dang in Bich La Dong Village is currently displaying hundreds of his works of art, artifacts, and sketches to serve the art-loving public to visit and enjoy.
